Cobourg Police – Man Charged With Theft and Fraud

On Monday the 18th day of February 2019 at approximately 9:30 AM, officers of the Cobourg Police Service arrested a 43 year old Cobourg resident, for fraud.

A theft of credit cards was reported to police on December 29th, 2018. After the theft, several fraudulent purchases were made with these stolen credit cards.

As a result of the police investigation, Eric Bremner was charged with seven counts of possession of property obtained by crime and five counts of fraud under $5000. Eric Bremner was released from custody on a Promise to Appear with Conditions.
