Cobourg Police – Female Arrested After Theft of Donation Jar

The Cobourg Police have charged a female after the theft of the Coldest Night of the Year donation jar in the front lobby of the police station.
On Saturday the 16th of February 2019, at approximately 2:30 am, a female entered the lobby of the Cobourg police station. After seeing no staff members in the immediate area, she took the donation jar and left the station.
As a result of the investigation, 35 year old Jillian NOLAN, of Cobourg, was charged with theft under $5000, Possession of Property obtained by crime and failing to comply with Probation under the Criminal Code.
Jillian NOLAN was subsequently located, arrested and held in custody. She appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice by way of a video bail hearing on the 17th day of February 2019.
