Durham Police – Teen Arrested After Stabbing His Sister in Ajax

A 16-year-old Ajax teen has been arrested after stabbing his 17-year-old sister at a residence in Ajax.

On Friday January 11, 2019, at approximately 8:20 a.m. members of West Division responded to a residence in the area of Westney Road and Ritchie Avenue in Ajax for a domestic-related incident. Officers located a 17-year-old female who was suffering from a stab wound. The teen suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital.

Her brother was arrested and facing numerous charges.

A 16-year-old teen from Ajax is charged with Assault with a Weapon and Assault Cause Bodily Harm. He was held for a bail hearing.
