What do you do when the ice on Rice Lake freezes and it’s bitterly cold?

Have motorcycle ice racing of course.

The Oshawa Competition Motorcycle Club held their second event of the season ice racing on Rice Lake on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Racers took part in the races just off Captain’s Marina in Bewdley. The races took place throughout the day on a along with a Grand Prix track. Speeds along the straightaway reached upwards of 75 mph.

There are plans for another seven races on Rice Lake along with one in Tweed for the season of ice racing.
