Cobourg Police – Male Arrested For Mischief and Breach of Probation

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on November 27, 2018, a male known to Police entered the Cobourg Police Service and entered the lobby. The male became violent and began causing damage, smashing one of the wall mounted lobby televisions and throwing a table.
Police subdued and arrested the male.

Arrested for Mischief Under $5000 and Breach of Probation is 33 year old James Rankin of no fixed address. The male was lodged in cells at the Cobourg Police and held to await a bail hearing on November 28th.
