Lightning Over Lake Ontario

In Editor Choice, Weather

Lightning was periodically visible after a storm over Lake Ontario, south of Cobourg on Monday, October 8, 2018.

Most of the lightning was hidden in the clouds, but at some points the lightning was visible brightening up the lake and sky.

The storm was concentrated over Lake Ontario and never reached the shores around the Cobourg area.
