Cobourg Police – Early Morning Break Ins at Home Hardware and Speedy Auto Glass

In Crime, Police Blotter

Just before 6:00 AM and just after 6:00 AM on August 4th, officers of the Cobourg Police Service attended at Speedy Auto Glass and Home Hardware for two separate break and enter incidents, where entry was gained by smashing doorways and then cash and tools were taken.

A vehicle involved is pictured in the attached photo. The driver’s door and front left corner can be seen to be discoloured, but similar in colour to the rest of the vehicle. This hopefully makes the vehicle memorable and identifiable to someone who may have passed it on Division Street as it left the scenes, or may recognize it from their neighbourhood.

The Cobourg Police Service is actively investigating these incidents and is seeking any information from the public, who may have information about these break and enters, the vehicle or involved suspects.

Please contact the Cobourg Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch at 905-372-6821 or you can call Crime Stoppers, and remain anonymous.
