Man Arrested for Assault

The Cobourg Police have arrested a man for assault after responding to a family dispute.
On Wednesday the 22nd of February, 2018, at approximately 4:45 pm, police attended a residence in the North end of Cobourg for a family dispute during which the victim was punched in the face receiving minor injuries.
As a result of the police investigation, a Cobourg man was charged with assault and released on a Promise to Appear with an impending court date and an Officer in Charge Undertaking with conditions. The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
