Northumberland OPP – Break and Enter into Grafton Business

On Thursday February 25, 2021 at approximately 1:50 am, members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an alarm at a business located on County Rd 2 in the village of Grafton.

Officers arrived at the location and found that the suspect(s) had forced entry into the business and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes.

Investigators are actively seeking information that may lead to the identity of the suspects responsible for this incident, and other incidents similar in nature that have occurred recently throughout the area.

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with these ongoing investigations and would ask anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call the Peterborough/Northumberland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 and not have to appear in court.
