Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested for Mischief

On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 8:15 am, officers were dispatched to attend a business in the west end of
Cobourg. Upon arrival, police learned that a woman had damaged property in the public washroom of the
business.
As a result of a subsequent police investigation, 33-year-old Lindsey TURLAND of Cobourg was arrested and
charged with:

  1. Mischief – Under $5,000.00 Contrary to Section 430(4) of the Criminal Code
  2. Theft Under $5,000.00 Contrary to Section 334(b) of the Criminal Code
    TURLAND was later released from police custody with an April 2021 court date.
