High Winds Usually Means Surfers Enjoying Lake Ontario Off Cobourg

In Editor Choice, Weather

When there are high winds you can usually find surfers and stand-up paddlers along the shoreline of Lake Ontario in Cobourg.

Saturday, August 29, 2020 was no different as a number of people hit the waves just east of the east pier in Cobourg.

With limited outdoor activities and no beach access, the surfers also had a number of spectators watching during the day.
