Boat Dock and Trailer Catch Fire on Highway 401 East of Cobourg

In News

Cobourg and Hamilton Township Fire Departments responded to a trailer fire on Highway 401 eastbound lanes just east of Cobourg on July 31, 2020.

Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 5:50 p.m. to a trailer and dock on fire just east of Cobourg.

It’s believed one of the tires blew on the highway and caught fire which caught the new dock on fire that was being delivered to the owner.

The two people that were delivering the dock pulled to the side of the road and with the help of others, put out the flames.

Fire crews arrived shortly after and made sure the fire was extinguished.
