The 2023 Show and Shine for Spencer Devine, held on September 10, was a resounding success, raising an impressive $4300 for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Branch (CMHA HKPR). The event, organized by Spencer’s mother and brother, Liz Jeffries-Bradley and Chase Devine brought car and motorcycle enthusiasts from as far as Barrie and Trenton.

All came together to showcase their prized vehicles and support a worthy cause.

The show, now in its second year, has become a highly anticipated event in the community. This year’s edition surpassed all expectations, attracting a record number of participants and spectators.

The event featured a stunning display of classic cars, vintage vehicles, and custom rides, captivating car and motorcycle enthusiasts of all ages.
Thanks to the overwhelming support from the community, the funds will be instrumental in developing mental health promotional tools and resources, as well as CMHA’s mental health crisis response services.

The CMHA, Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Branch is dedicated to promoting mental health and providing vital services to individuals and families in need. The funds raised from the Show and Shine for Spencer Devine will enable the organization to expand its reach and enhance its programs, ensuring that those struggling with mental health challenges receive the support they deserve.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in the 2023 Show and Shine for Spencer Devine event and contributed to this remarkable fundraising effort,” said Jack Veitch, Manager of Community Engagement and Education.

“It’s incredible to see all the hard work that was done to make this event happen and is a testament to the generosity and compassion of our community.”
