The Cobourg Police Station, located at 107 King Street West, will be reopening to the public on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020, under new COVID-19 procedures with the hours of operation of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The public washroom will be available during these times.
Community members continue to be encouraged to take advantage of the online services available through the Cobourg Police Service’s website. You should only attend the Cobourg Police Station if necessary.

· Freedom of Information Request
· Motor Vehicle Collision Report Request
· Online Reporting of non-emergency crime
· Bike registration
Before attending 107 King Street West:
• Check cobourgpoliceservice.com to see if the service you require can be completed online.
For assistance with online services, please call (905) 372-6821.
• Complete the online COVID-19 health screening questions before heading to the station. If you answer YES to any of the questions, DO NOT attend the station, we can help you over the phone by calling (905) 372-6821.
The Cobourg Police Station will re-open with updated health and safety measures based on the Government of Ontario, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, and the Emergency Control Group guidelines and recommendations.
What to expect when they visit 107 King Street West:
A Cobourg Police Service auxiliary member or volunteer will be available to assist in the process and answer
any questions. All visitors to the Cobourg Police Station must wear a non-medical mask or face covering while
inside the building.
• Only two (2) people are permitted in the lobby at one time to ensure safe distancing of at least twometres (6 feet). Physical distancing markers will be located on the ground as a guideline.
• Upon entering the building, visitors will be required to sanitize their hands. Hand sanitizer will be available to everyone.
• A series of standard health screening questions will be asked.
• A contactless system will take the visitor’s temperature.
If any screening questions are answered ‘yes’ or if the temperature is over 38°C, the visitor will be denied access to the building. At this point, the visitor will be recommended to call Telehealth Ontario. Resources and assistance will be offered in an alternative manner. If the visitor has an emergency matter, they will be directed appropriately to access emergency services.
The Cobourg Police Service would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding. We want to stress that there is no disruption in day to day activities, and the Cobourg Police Service will continue to provide service to the Town of Cobourg.
