Belleville Police Service – Project Renewal Drug Arrests (Names Released)

Four people were arrested and charged with drug-related offences following the execution of a warrant at a North Front Street business, Thursday.

Shortly before 1 p.m. members of the joint police team Project Renewal, along with the Belleville Police Service Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Belleville Police Service K9 Unit executed the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a room at a motel located at 325 North Front Street known as The Traveler’s Inn.

The targets of this warrant were known to be selling narcotics to the local homeless community.

The following people were charged:
Randi ROSE, 38, of no fixed address
1. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl – Sec 5(2) CDSA
2. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
3. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
4. Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(a) CC

Dave WADDINGTON, 34, of no fixed address
1. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl – Sec 5(2) CDSA
2. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
3. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
4. Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(a) CC

Darrell KING, 43, of no fixed address
1. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl – Sec 5(2) CDSA
2. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
3. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
4. Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(a) CC

Melissa SINCLAIR, 44, of Belleville
1. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl – Sec 5(2) CDSA
2. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
3. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
4. Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(a) CC

Dave WADDINGTON and Melissa SINCLAIR were each further charged with the following offences:
Fail to Comply with Probation Order – Sec 733.1(1) CC

ROSE and WADDINGTON were held for a show cause hearing on December 6, 2024.
KING and SINCLAIR were released on a Form 10 with a court date of January 13, 2025 and a fingerprint date of January 2, 2025.

Items seized:

· 15.2 grams of Fentanyl

· 9.0 grams of Cocaine

· 1.1 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine

· $965 Canadian Currency

· Digital Scales

· Packaging material
