Public invited to explore new Golden Plough Lodge: Open House, August 20th
Northumberland County is inviting the community members to celebrate the opening of the new Golden Plough Lodge during a public open house on Thursday, August 20, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
With residents expected to transition to the new facility on Sunday, August 23, this open house will provide our community an opportunity to step inside the new home before it is operational, taking in the thoughtfully designed spaces where residents will soon receive care, build connections and call home.
Visitors will be able to explore the new home through self-guided tours, meet staff and experience the spaces that will support residents, families and staff for years to come.

Parking Information for Open House
Parking will be available at the new Golden Plough Lodge, with access from 590 Courthouse Road. As attendance is expected to be high, additional parking is available at several nearby locations:
Northumberland County Headquarters – 555 Courthouse Road
Church on the Hill – additional parking has been generously made available for the open house on August 20. The parking area can be accessed from Elgin Street via Courthouse Road west.
Visitors are encouraged to consider using the additional parking locations and allow extra time to walk to the new Golden Plough Lodge.
