Cobourg Police Service Board Launches Search for Deputy Chief
The Cobourg Police Service Board has launched its recruitment process for the position of Deputy Chief, a key executive leadership role within the Cobourg Police Service. The posting opened on August 5, 2026, with applications being accepted until August 19, 2026.
Reporting directly to the Chief of Police, the Deputy Chief will provide strategic leadership and oversight for Human Resources, Finance, the Business Services Unit, the V13 Policetech Accelerator, and the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
The Service is seeking an accomplished active-duty police leader with a strong business background, demonstrated leadership experience, and a commitment to public service.
The successful candidate will contribute to organizational strategy, governance, and operational excellence.
