Video – Soccer Fans Turn Pickup Truck into Outdoor Viewing Party in Cobourg
A day at the beach in Cobourg didn’t stop one group of friends and family from catching one of the biggest soccer matches of the summer.
With a television set up in the back of a pickup truck, the group gathered together on Sunday, July 19, 2026, to watch the FIFA World Cup Final between Spain and Argentina.
As the tense match unfolded, cheers and applause erupted throughout the area whenever Spain created a scoring chance. When Spain netted the lone goal of the game, the celebration was loud enough for nearby beachgoers to notice.
The unique outdoor viewing party combined two summer favourites — a day at the beach and world-class soccer — as the fans celebrated Spain’s 1-0 victory over Argentina in the World Cup Final.
