Campbellford Memorial Hospital Hosting Redevelopment Information Session on June 4

Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) is inviting community members to attend an upcoming Redevelopment Information Session focused on the hospital’s ongoing redevelopment planning process.

The session will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Sunny Life Recreation & Wellness Centre in Campbellford and will provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about the project, current planning activities, and the long-term vision for a future hospital and Campus of Care.

The evening will begin with an information presentation from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by an open house from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., where community members will have the opportunity to speak directly with members of the Redevelopment Team and ask questions about the project. Those interested in learning more are welcome to attend any portion of the evening’s programming.

“Redevelopment is about planning for the future of healthcare in our region,” said Jeff Hohenkerk, President & CEO of Campbellford Memorial Hospital. “As we continue through the planning process, it’s important that residents have opportunities to learn more about the work underway, understand what this stage of the project involves, and stay connected to the vision for our future hospital and Campus of Care.”

The session will include updates on:

The current stage of the redevelopment process

Early planning and site assessment activities currently underway

The vision and goals behind the proposed Campus of Care

How redevelopment planning supports future healthcare needs in the region

CMH also notes that similar redevelopment information sessions and open houses will be held throughout the region over the coming months as part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to community outreach and engagement. Additional details, including dates, locations, and times for future sessions, will be shared closer to each event.
