Video – Transport Driver YouTuber Gets Pulled Over on Highway 401 Near Brighton
A transport driver who also streams on YouTube was pulled over on Highway 401 east of Brighton on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
The YouTuber goes by the name Me.Caramidaru and has over 4,000 subscribers.
On Thursday the title of his YouTube was Highway Streamer/Long Haul to Ottawa Day 1 Highway 401.
At approximately 8:45 p.m. OPP were informed by a person watching a livestream of the transport driving heading east along Highway 401 by Cobourg.
The “vague details” from the caller stated the driver of the transport seems to be “live streaming themselves.”
In the chatroom, the driver stated he’d been a transport driver for 16 years and has had the YouTube channel for approximately two years.
Officers watched the YouTube channel, and narrowed down the location.
Watching the YouTube channel, the transport first passes by a OPP vehicle with emergency lights activated on the shoulder of the highway, then a short time later the transport is pulled over just after 9 p.m.
Approximately 10-minutes later, the driver is back on his way delivering his cargo and communicating with his followers.
“I guess this is going to be a regular thing,” the driver said pulling back onto the highway.”
“They stopped me because they got a complaint that I’m driving all over the road and I’m reading chat – which none of that is true.”
“The police were nice enough and let me be.”
The driver said the police officer was, “very nice,” but added, “I believe this is going to be a reoccurring thing.”
While driving he explained that he wasn’t texted and driving and was communicating by audio in the cab of his transport.
