Overnight King Street West Culvert Construction in Cobourg Scheduled for October 29

Intermittent traffic stoppages to occur from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Due to the ongoing culvert construction, King Street West will have intermittent traffic stoppages overnight on Wednesday October 29, starting at 8 p.m., and ending on Thursday October 30 at 6 a.m.

If a second night is required, intermittent traffic stoppages will take place overnight on Thursday October 30, starting at 8 p.m. and ending on Friday October 31 at 6 a.m.

Despite the stoppages, a single lane will remain open with flaggers directing traffic as required, however there may be longer wait times. The culvert construction site is located approximately 0.6 km west of Burnham Street.

Emergency service access and electrical service to the neighbourhood will be maintained. The Town thanks residents and visitors for their patience and we apologize for any inconvenience.
