Memorial Park in Port Hope was filled with fans of the Toronto Blue Jays watching game 2 of the World Series against the LA Dodgers on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Councillor and local businessman Adam Pearson made arrangements for the game to be shown in Memorial Park starting at 8 p.m.
Camilia Carr and her 15-year-old son William (decked out as the Jays mascot) were just two of the people that enjoyed the game.
Although the game didn’t go as planned with the Jays losing 5-1 and the series tied up going into game 3 in Los Angeles on Monday night.
It was a chilly night, but fans of the Jays came prepared and were bundled up nestled in their lawn chairs.
Just prior to the first pitch, people in Memorial Park stood up and sang the national anthem before Pearson through the first pitch on the stage of the bandshell.
Moments later, the game was underway.
There were a few buffering moments at the beginning, but those details were worked out and the fans enjoyed a great, but chilly night out under the stars.
