The community of Colborne and surrounding area came out on Saturday, November 23, 2024 for the annual Santa Clause Parade.
The parade kicked off at 7 p.m. with 47 bloats and banks and made its way through the downtown. This years theme was Christmas movies and television shows.
It was a perfect evening for the parade and children and adults, both in the parade and watching it were enjoying themselves.
Leading the way for the parade was the Concert Band of Cobourg followed by Cramahe Mayor Mandy Martin and MP Philip Lawrence.
Ash Grove once again put smiles on many people watching by giving away a Christmas necklace along the route.
As the parade swung around back through the downtown, the Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums held their annual tradition by marching into The Royal Crown pub to warm up.
The faces of the children lit up when Santa Claus waving from atop of his sleigh greeted the children.
After the parade, Santa got to meet with the children and heard what they wanted for Christmas and posed for family photos.
