Volunteers Needed for Snow Angels Program in Belleville

Clearing snow can be a barrier for many people: older adults, people with disabilities, someone with an injury or even a parent with young children in the house. It can affect an individual’s ability to stay active in our community and to live at home safely and as independently as possible.

Snow Angels is a neighbourhood program that allows people who need help shoveling snow from their driveways and walkways to connect with volunteers in their area. After registering on the website, those seeking support with snow removal can view all nearby registered volunteers and message them to request support. Likewise, as a registered volunteer you can view the approximate locations of people seeking support and reach out to them to offer help.

To volunteer or to register for assistance, visit: snowangelscanada.ca.

Please note that you must have an email address to register. If you do not have one, consider asking a friend or family member for help.

The Snow Angels program is not a City of Belleville program. It relies completely on our community and the registration of volunteers. Trouble registering or questions about the process? Visit //Belleville.ca/Accessibility for helpful resources.
