YMCA Northumberland Campbellford Opening Soon
New Location Set to Open November 27
YMCA Northumberland is thrilled to announce the opening day for its new location in Campbellford. Doors will open at 6 AM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, within the beautiful Sunny Life Recreation & Wellness Centre. This new facility represents months of dedicated effort from an expansive team, bringing more fitness and wellness opportunities to the Campbellford community with new spaces, two new pools, and a host of amenities and services designed to support healthy living and community connection.
Starting November 27, YMCA Northumberland’s Campbellford location will be open for its regular hours
of 6 AM to 9 PM Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 8 PM on Saturdays, and 7 AM to 5 PM on Sundays. Visitors
on opening day will have access to the personal conditioning centre, two pools according to the scheduled hours, and guided tours of the facility. Group fitness classes are being developed and will
start as soon as possible. The full suite of YMCA amenities includes a warming pool, 4 lane 25 metre
pool, a conditioning centre with free weights, weight machines and cardio equipment, multiple
changerooms, two studios and a multi-purpose space. Full schedules for more programming are coming out soon.

To celebrate the opening, YMCA Northumberland is offering special Grand Opening rates on one month
memberships, available until November 27. New members can take advantage of discounted rates for
their first month, including: Individual Rate: $30 x Couple Rate (2 adults): $55 x Group/Family (up to 5 people): $70 Memberships can be purchased online or in person at the Sunny Life Recreation & Wellness Centre during designated Membership Purchase times until November 27, detailed online at

To further celebrate the opening of the new facility, in partnership with the Municipality of Trent Hills,
YMCA Northumberland will also be hosting a Grand Reveal Open House on Friday, December 13,
from 2:30 to 6 PM. This event, free and open to the public, will offer an opportunity for the community
to experience the new facility firsthand. Attendees can enjoy official ceremonies, free skating and
swimming, class demonstrations, kid’s activities, light refreshments and other holiday fun in celebration
of this exciting new addition to Campbellford and Trent Hills.
