Video – The World’s Best Disc Golfers Compete at Haute Goat
Some of the world’s top disc golfers are taking part in a competition at Haute Goat in the Municipality of Port Hope from September 13 to 15.
The inaugural Innova Rip tournament has over 90 professional men and women disc golfers will join another 60 amateur disc golfers to compete in Canada’s most prominent disc golf tournament on the 2024 calendar.
The tournament features three rounds of competitive play between Friday and Sunday. The week’s itinerary will also feature clinics hosted by top professionals during practice round days on Wednesday and Thursday, a disc golf merchandise mart, along with fun challenges including an evening glow in the dark round competition, an ace run event, and for definite Canadian content, a Saturday evening doubles crokinole tournament.
Two-time world champion Isaac Robinson; current world number one ranked male professional on the Professional Disc Golf Tour, Gannon Buhr; five-time female world champion, Paige Pierce, as well as legendary veterans of the sport, Jeremy Koling, Philo Brathwaite are taking part in the competition.
