Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Program Raises Over $22,500 for Northumberland Branch Navy League of Canada
All across Canada, Tim Hortons outlets hosted its annual Smile Cookie program from April 29 – May 5, 2024.
During this time, 100 percent of the proceeds from the local campaign, funds local charities and community groups.
This year, the four Port Hope Tim locations raised funds for the local Northumberland Branch, Navy League of Canada, supporters of the Skeena Sea and Navy League Cadet programs within Northumberland County.
Representing the branch , Evelyn Vandermey accepted a cheque valued at $ 22,601.45. Funds raised will be used to support the youth of community
Commanding Officer, Chris Barker of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Skeena said “The branch wishes to thank the numerous volunteers, who donated their time to help decorate all the cookies during the week long program and also the local Port Hope owners of Tim Horton outlets.”
“A special thank you to all of the patrons who purchased a cookie during the campaign.”
