United Way Northumberland proudly celebrated the success of their 2023-2024 fundraising campaign and launched their new campaign in celebration of their 55th year of caring in the community.
At their annual Campaign Celebration and Kickoff Breakfast on May 1, 2024, held at the Best Western Inn and Convention Centre in Cobourg, United Way recognized the community’s achievements, announcing that their 2023-2024 campaign raised $873,506.
They also shared their new goal to raise $955,000 in 2024-2025 under the theme “A Legacy of Caring”.
“This theme speaks to the lasting impact of United Way in Northumberland County,” said Alicia Vandine, Executive Director, of United Way Northumberland. “Our organization remains committed to supporting our community, providing vital resources and assistance to 1 in 4 people in our county who rely on United Way-funded programs and services each year. As we start our 55th year, we are grateful to all those who have been there through the years, to support this work and our generous donors who continue to believe in the work of United Way and support our campaign each year.”
In addition to announcing their fundraising goal, United Way revealed their 2024 funded community partners during the breakfast and invited each one to share more about the impact United Way is making in our communities. United Way’s 2024 funded Community Partners, include:
