Cobourg Police Service (CPS) will host a facility tour on Thursday, April 25th, at the police station at 107 King Street West in Cobourg. Community members are welcome to attend the event.
The CPS—Needs Assessment & Accommodation Options Report, which provides an in-depth look at our operation and facility at 107 King Street, was presented to the Cobourg Police Service Board in September 2023. Subsequently, the Protection Services Committee received the report, which will be presented to the Council this week.

“As anticipated, the community has been watching closely and with great interest since the needs assessment report was released. Throughout this process, we will continue to provide as much information as possible to Council and the community,” said Chief Paul VandeGraaf, Cobourg Police Service. “I encourage everyone interested to review the report and attend one of the station tours.”

The facility tour is Thursday, April 25th, at 11:00 am at the Cobourg Police Station (107 King Street West, Cobourg). The event will open with greetings from Chief Paul VandeGraaf, followed by a guided tour of the police station. Community members are asked to sign in at the front counter upon arrival. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot behind the police station.

A second tour will take place on Tuesday, May 14, at 4:00 p.m. Follow the CPS Facebook Page for updates.
