TVO Original Series “Crossroads” Features Warkworth
TVO Original series Crossroads has featured the village of Warkworth, Ontario in one of the episodes. The episode focuses on how the village reinvented itself as an artist’s haven after the collapse of the tobacco industry TVO spokesperson Genevieve Grant stated in a e-mail to Today’s Northumberland.
“Specifically, this Crossroads episode explores how Warkworth navigates the first generation of artists retiring, and surging housing prices. It seeks to uncover if the next wave of artists can afford to move in or if Warkworth’s Main Street will lose the artsy charm upon which its tourist trade depends.”
