Peterborough County OPP – Fatal Collision on the 10th Line
(DOURO-DUMMER TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on the 10th Line that occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. this evening.
A vehicle with two occupants was located in the ditch. The driver was pronounced deceased at scene. The passenger was transported to a local hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 10th Line is currently closed between Webster Road and Dummer-Asphodel Road while members trained in collision reconstruction measure and document the scene. The road closure will remain in place for several hours.
