Ten Vehicles Collide During White Out Conditions in Hamilton Township

Hamilton Township 10 Vehicle Pileup February 19, 2022

Miraculously only one person received minor injuries following a 10-vehicle collision in Hamilton Township on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

Emergency services were dispatched to Burnham Street North, just north of Danforth Road at approximately 2:20 p.m. for approximately 10 vehicles involved in collisions.

Numerous drivers told Today’s Northumberland there were white out conditions caused by high winds and drifting snow in the area.

A number of chain reaction collisions resulted, but only one person was taken to hospital for treatment of a minor injury.

Burnham Street in the area was closed for approximately two hours while crews cleared away the damaged vehicles.
