Final Virtual “House Call” to Feature Northumberland Hills Hospital Auxiliary

Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation’s Virtual “House Calls” series will be wrapping up with the final session on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 2:00p.m. featuring NHH Auxiliary – Because We Care!

The NHH Auxiliary is the largest volunteer group supporting NHH, with a mission to provide effective and compassionate assistance to visitors, staff, and patients, in an environment that
promotes the dignity and wellbeing of all. Though onsite volunteer activities have been paused throughout the global pandemic, this passionate group is in its 98th year of supporting quality
health care in west Northumberland. In addition to providing an overview of the Auxiliary’s history and highlighting opportunities for community members to get involved, this session will
include a feature presentation on the donor-funded hematology backup analyzer at NHH.

Running each Tuesday from January 26 – February 23, 2021 at 2:00p.m., each “House Call” lasts one hour in length and has been designed to shine a light on an NHH service, program, or
organization; showcase recent medical equipment purchased to demonstrate community donations at work; educate the audience on planned giving topics of interest; and provide an
opportunity for social connection. This is the fifth and final session of the series.

More information on all of these sessions, as well as recordings from previous sessions, can be found at www.NHHFoundation.ca/Events/House-calls and those interested in attending are
invited to contact Wendy Bridgman at (905) 372-6811 ext. 3066 or wbridgman@nhh.ca.

Attendees will be asked to provide a phone number and email address and on the Monday prior to the session, a Zoom link will be sent to all those signed up.
