Through sunny and grey skies workers and volunteers are doing their best to make Christmas Magic come to life in Cobourg.

On Tuesday, November 24, 2020 workers were busy in Victoria Park and Rotary Waterfront Park getting ready for Christmas Magic to begin in the upcoming days.

Workers are doing their best even though there are some frustrations along the way.

In Rotary Waterfront Park a person/s broke part of the Christmas train and caused other minor damage to a display. People volunteering their time kept the warmth of the season and with smiles on their faces, in no time, things were back to what they were.

In Victoria Park, as other years, squirrels seem to be trying to take a bit out of the Magic by chewing away at the strands of Christmas lights.

There are numerous reports online where it suggests the squirrels may think the lights are nuts and it turns out that some electrical wires are covered in a soy-based coating that squirrels and other small animals enjoy eating.

Workers again, are doing their best to bring the Magic of the season back to Cobourg.
