Second Annual Pumpkin Parade in Port Hope Showcases 400 Pumpkins

Pumpkin Parade Port Hope November 1 2020

Over 400 Pumpkins on Display for Port Hope’s 2nd Annual Pumpkin Parade.

Critical Mass and our Great Pumpkin Parade leader, Barbara Bell, held their second annual Port Hope Pumpkin Parade on Sunday, November 1st, starting at 6 p.m..

It was a time to give your Jack O’ Lantern the opportunity to shine and delight one last time.

This free community event was inspired by parades that began in Toronto in 2004 (50+ Parades to date) and have rapidly spread to Vancouver, Montreal, Peterborough, Kingston, Oshawa, Newmarket, Stratford, Regina, Burnaby, St. Johns, Manhattan and recently Bowmanville and Port Hope.

After the event local farmers are invited to gather up pumpkins for feed and all remaining pumpkins will be taken away and composted courtesy of Harnden Haulage. Facilitated by the Municipality of Port Hope.
