Hamilton Township Fire Department Spirit Nights for Essential Workers Brought the Community Together
It was a special evening for residents of Hamilton Township on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
Over 15 firetrucks ended the Hamilton Township Fire Department Spirit Nights for Essential Workers with a trip around the township starting in Baltimore and ending in Bewdley.
The fleet of fire apparatus started off at 6:30 p.m. from the Baltimore Rec Centre and headed into as many communities they could including Harwood, Gores Landing and others before ending at the Bewdley Community Centre over an hour later.
Along the way, many families came out to the roadway, holding signs and cheering on the firefighters, while the firefighters cheered them back.
It was a great showing of community spirit to end the Spirit Nights for Essential Workers which has been taking place for a number of weeks.
