File photo the first time the name “Highway of Heroes” was mentioned as three fallen soldiers were repatriated.
Capt. Brenden Ian MacDonald, Capt. Kevin Hagen, Capt. Maxime Miron-Morin, Sub-Lt. Matthew Pyke, Sub-Lt. Abbigail Cowbrough, Master Cpl. Matthew Cousins. These six brave members of the Canadian Forces lost their lives aboard a Canadian military helicopter that crashed off the coast of Greece on Wednesday April 29, 2020 .
The remains that have been recovered from the crash site will arrive CFB Trenton on Wednesday May 6th at 2.00 PM. Following an arrival ceremony, a procession will travel to Toronto along the Highway of Heroes.
