Homes along Robinson Drive in Cobourg are raising their pots and pans to make noise loud enough that emergency workers can hear them at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
Thursday, March 26, 2020 was the second day neighbours came out of their homes along the streets with signs sharply at 7:30 p.m. to cheer for the men and women who are on the front lines including doctors, nurses, emergency responders, health unit staff and others who are helping in the COVID-19 crisis.
Leading the way on Thursday down the street was a Cobourg Police cruiser and Cobourg Mayor John Henderson.
The west end neighbourhood will be continuing on and welcome other streets to join in supporting health care workers.
