Kindness of Strangers In Times of Need In Cobourg

(photo of delivery was taken from inside their home)

Mike Holden and his wife Stephanie Powers of Perry Street in Cobourg are healthy, but in 14 days of isolation after cutting their European vacation short.

The couple called M&M Meats and placed a grocery order – it was the first time they’d ever called the store.

Even though M&M are too busy to do deliveries, Pauline of M&M and her colleague graciously dropped the groceries off for free when their work shift ended.

Even though both women were total strangers to Holden and his wife, they made the delivery showing in difficult times people care about people.

As Holden stated, “These ladies were amazing. Total strangers coming to our aid. What a wonderful act of kindness during these trying times!”
