Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation invites you to enjoy a wonderful way to kick off the summer – their annual Wine & Ale in the Park June 27.
As well as supporting the foundation’s fundraising efforts on behalf of the hospital, it’s a great time to come together and enjoy local craft beer and fantastic foods, maybe try some new and seasonal wines, and bask in the early-summer ambience.
Pairing Stations are being carefully placed for maximum appeal, and all are locally catered. Confirmed attendees at this point include The Mill, William Street Brewery, Cultivate, Nosh + Nourish and Brock Street Brewery – so far.
Organizers are delighted to welcome back ReMax broker Tony Pulla as Presenting Sponsor.
“Tony has been a joy to work with over the years,” committee co-chair Sandra MacCoubrey stated in the foundation press release.
“His commitment to top-quality care in Northumberland County is inspiring.”
Committee co-chair Wendy Ito added her thanks to the Lions Club of Cobourg – “a valued partner and sponsor of this event in allowing us to host this wonderful evening, utilizing their tent for the Waterfront Festival. This event would not be possible without their support.”
The tent will be set up in Cobourg’s Victoria Park, where the big Waterfront Festival begins the following day. But first, from 6 to 9 p.m. June 28, enjoy a quieter celebration with friends and explore the best ales, wines and comestibles the community has to offer.
With all proceeds helping to fund the purchase of life-saving medical equipment for Northumberland Hills Hospital.
