Cobourg Council Directs Staff To Rescind Taxi Bylaw

Cobourg council will direct staff to rescind the section of its taxi bylaw that limits the number of taxis that can be licensed and to begin getting input into allowing ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft. Making the motion, Councillor Adam Bureau cited excessively long waits people are experiencing for pick up.
