Cobourg Police Asking For Public’s Assistance 24-Hours After Senior Goes Missing (UPDATE Missing Senior Found)
UPDATE: As of 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Cobourg Police issued release. Please be advised that 83 year old John SMITH has been located. The Cobourg Police Service would like to thank all our community media partners for their assistance.
Cobourg Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 83-year-old John Smith.
Smith was last observed in the area of Burnham Street in the Town of Cobourg on Saturday, January 19, 2019.
Smith is described as a white male approximately 171 cm tall, medium build with thinning grey hair. Family and police are concerned for his well being.
Police issued a release on Sunday, January 20 asking for the public’s assistance.
If anyone knows the current location of Smith or has any information about his possible whereabouts, please call the Cobourg Police Service at 905-372-6821 and speak with the Supervisor on duty, or call Crime stoppers at 1-800-222- TIPS (8477).
