Port Hope Police – Port Home Man Charged with Sexual Assault x2 (Name Released)
The Port Hope Police Service has arrested and charged a 67-year-old Port Hope man following an investigation into two separate incidents involving female employees at local businesses.
Clifford GILLESPIE, 67, of Port Hope, has been charged with:
Two counts of Sexual Assault, contrary to Section 271 of the Criminal Code.
GILLESPIE was arrested on September 24, 2026, and was held for a bail hearing.
He was subsequently remanded into custody by the Ontario Court of Justice in Northumberland County.
