Northumberland OPP – Witnesses Sought in Fail-to-Remain Collision on County Road 28
The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fail-to-remain collision between a sedan and a motorcycle on County Road 28.
On Monday, September 21, 2026, shortly after 9:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and sedan on County Road 28, near Ganaraska Road, in Northumberland County.
The motorcycle rider, a 53-year-old male, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted by Ornge to a Toronto-area trauma centre.
The involvled vehicle is described as a white sedan with tinted windows and a possible spoiler. Investigators are continuing their efforts to identify the driver.
County Road 28, between Boundary Road and Ganaraska Road, is closed while members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit (TTCI) conduct their investigation. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and follow posted detour routes.
