Belleville Police – Belleville Man Facing Multiple Charges in Relation to Internet Child Exploitation (Name Released)

On Friday, May 22nd, 2026, following an investigation by the Belleville Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit, 45-year-old Paul O’BRIEN of Belleville was arrested and charged with:

· Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material

· Making child sexual abuse and exploitation material

· Transmitting child sexual abuse and exploitation material

· Careless storage of a firearm

· Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon

O’BRIEN was held for a bail hearing on May 25th, 2026.
