Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Possession, Fail to Comply (No Name Released)

A 38-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police responded to an unwanted person call on Tuesday.

On February 3, 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m., police responded to a report of an unwanted person inside the lobby of a business in the area of King Street West and George Street in Cobourg.

Upon arrival, officers located the individual in possession of suspected fentanyl. As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule I substance – Fentanyl and failure to comply with probation order. The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
