Cobourg Police – Investigating A Series of Vehicle Entries

The Cobourg Police Service (CPS) is currently investigating a series of vehicle entries that occurred overnight between October 14 and 15, 2025, at multiple residential locations in the Town of Cobourg.

Reports have been received from residents in the following areas:

Division Street and Charles Street
Birchwood Trail
Burnham Manor Court
King Street East and Division Street

In three of the reported incidents, cash and other personal property were taken from the vehicles. Police are actively investigating whether these incidents are connected.

CPS reminds all residents to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, and report any suspicious activity immediately.

Anyone with information or surveillance footage that may assist in the investigation is encouraged to contact CPS at 905-372-6821 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or visiting stopcrimehere.ca. Tips received through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
