Durham Regional Police – Fatal Shooting at Ajax GO
A shooting at the Ajax GO marks Durham Police 4th homicide of 2025.
On Sunday, June 22, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., members of West Division responded to the Ajax GO lot, located at 110 Westney Road, for an assist ambulance call. Officers arrived on scene where there was an unconscious male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he has since succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators are currently looking for an outstanding suspect and are appealing to anyone with video footage, including dashcam or video to please come forward. Specifically, anyone with video footage between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., as it is believed the shooting happened during this time.
