New facility part of the government’s plan to protect Ontario’s health-care system by connecting more people to primary care in their community
The Ontario government is celebrating the completion of Brock Community Health Centre’s (CHC) new state-of-the-art facility in Cannington, connecting more people in Brock Township and the surrounding areas to world-class primary care and health promotion services, close to home.
“Our government is protecting Ontario’s health-care system and ensuring that more people in Brock Township and the surrounding communities can connect to comprehensive primary care services, where and when they need it,” said Sylvia Jones, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health. “The new and improved Brock Community Health Centre will make it faster and easier for more patients and their families to access quality primary care and health services in their community, for years to come.”
Supported by a provincial investment of $16.6 million, the new 19,000-square-foot community health centre will increase access to primary-care services and programs and serve as a hub for health-care organizations and service providers.
