Strong winds whipped up Lake Ontario just off Cobourg on Monday, March 24, 2025.
A few surfers hit the waves that pounded against the east pier for most of the afternoon.
Strong winds are anticipated for Tuesday with gusts up to 50 kph and the temperature hovering around 3 degrees Celsius.
